This year’s tournament, held at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka from January 16-18, serves as a significant opportunity for young athletes to display their skills and potentially pave the way for future success in rugby. The Dominion Brothers, focusing on developing a relatively inexperienced roster, aim not only to defend their title but also to foster new talent, highlighting the hope and communal spirit intrinsic to Fijian rugby.
With only two players from last year’s championship team remaining, the emphasis will be on nurturing young athletes who are stepping onto the field for a chance to shine. This reflects a broader theme of growth and mentorship vital to the development of Fijian rugby. The journey of these emerging players represents a hopeful narrative, showcasing the importance of resilience and teamwork both in sports and in life.
