Rikshal Dayal, a 30-year-old entrepreneur from Wailevu, Labasa, has launched his own law firm, Rikshal Dayal Lawyers, in Labasa Town. His office, situated at Savilla House on Jaduram Street, opened its doors on Thursday after Mr. Dayal invested $10,000 to establish the business.
A graduate of the University of the South Pacific with a Bachelor of Law obtained in 2019, Mr. Dayal has gathered relevant experience through a six-year tenure at Sarju Prasad Esquire, becoming the first lawyer in his family. He expressed a long-standing ambition to create his own firm in order to better serve his community.
Acknowledging the competitive landscape of the legal profession, Mr. Dayal believes in his capacity to deliver superior service to clients. He stated, “No matter what kind of business we do there will always be risk involved and I am fully prepared for it.” He also urges others in his community to harness their skills and talents to start their own ventures, especially as Labasa Town experiences rapid growth and demand for new businesses.
Mr. Dayal expressed gratitude to his family, wife, and in-laws for their support in launching this endeavor. His office will operate Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 12 PM, with one administrative staff member.
