The opening batter made his debut as an impact substitute for the Rajasthan Royals on Saturday, impressively scoring 34 runs off 20 balls, which included an exhilarating six on his very first delivery. His performance featured a total of three sixes and two boundaries before he was ultimately stumped.
Suryavanshi’s contribution was pivotal as he built a substantial 85-run partnership with Yashasvi Jaiswal, providing a strong start to Rajasthan’s innings. Unfortunately, the team fell short, losing a close match to the Lucknow Super Giants by just two runs.

In comparison, Mujeeb ur Rahman remains the youngest international cricketer in the IPL, having debuted at the age of 17 in 2018 for the Punjab Kings.
