Young Talented Striker from Vanuatu Makes Major Move

Vanuatu’s national marksman, Joe Moses, is on his way to Fiji to join Suva FC for the remainder of this season. The 21-year-old, who played for Galaxy FC last season, will enhance Suva’s attacking capabilities. Joe Moses will become the third international striker to join the team during the mid-season transfer window, following Solomon Islands strikers Gagame Feni and Jaygray Sipakana.

Moses was a standout performer for Vanuatu in the recently concluded OFC Nations Cup, where the team reached the final for the first time. “I was so happy when they (Suva FC) messaged me and asked me to go and play for them. It is a dream come true for me,” Moses told Vanuatu’s Daily Post.

This move to Suva FC marks Moses’s first international club stint, and he is eager to gain invaluable experience and make both his family and nation proud. He also looks forward to supporting his mother in paying for his younger sister’s school fees, a responsibility he cherishes despite his own educational pursuits being side-tracked by his passion for football.

Moses will be contracted for six months, with a possibility of renewal. Meanwhile, Flick Hygiene Suva will face Extra Supermarket Labasa in Round 12 of the Digicel Fiji Premier League at Subrail Park on Saturday.
