Young Talent Joe Moses Set to Boost Suva FC’s Lineup in Mid-Season Move

Vanuatu’s national marksman, Joe Moses, is set to join Suva FC in Fiji for the remainder of this season. The 21-year-old, who previously played for Galaxy FC, is expected to bolster Suva’s attacking lineup.

Moses will become the third international striker to join Suva FC during the mid-season transfer window, following the signings of Solomon Islands’ Gagame Feni and Jaygray Sipakana.

The young talent made a significant impact in the recent OFC Nations Cup, where Vanuatu reached the final for the first time. Expressing his excitement about the move, Moses said, “I was so happy when they (Suva FC) messaged me and asked me to go and play for them. It is a dream come true for me,” as reported by Vanuatu’s Daily Post.

This transfer marks Moses’ first international club stint. He is eager to gain valuable experience and make both his family and nation proud. His commitment to his family is evident, as he looks forward to supporting his mother by helping to pay his younger sister’s school fees, despite his own educational pursuits being set aside for football.

Moses will be on a six-month contract with Suva FC, with a potential for renewal. Meanwhile, Flick Hygiene Suva is scheduled to face Extra Supermarket Labasa in Round 12 of the Digicel Fiji Premier League at Subrail Park on Saturday.
