Tomasi Seru Junior, the former Head Boy of Queen Victoria School, is set to make his debut for Stade Rochelais after being included in the starting 23 for their match against Bayonne in round 6 of the French Top 14.
The 20-year-old, who previously played for the Kaiviti Silktails before joining last year, has significantly impressed in the club’s 7s program. He has now received the opportunity from the coaches at La Rochelle to start on the bench in their third away match of the season.
Hailing from Ketei Village on Totoya Island, Seru Junior will wear jersey number 22 and is expected to play as outside centre with wing cover.
La Rochelle’s game against Bayonne is scheduled for 2:30 AM tomorrow.
