Former Queen Victoria School Head Boy Tomasi Seru Junior is set to make his debut for Stade Rochelais after being included in the squad for their upcoming match against Bayonne in round 6 of the French Top 14.
The 20-year-old, who previously played for the Kaiviti Silktails, has showcased his talents within the club’s 7s program since joining last year. The management at La Rochelle has now rewarded his impressive performances by naming him on the bench for their third away match of the season.
Seru Junior, hailing from Ketei Village on Totoya Island, is assigned jersey number 22 and will provide cover as an outside centre and wing player.
La Rochelle’s match against Bayonne is scheduled to take place at 2:30 AM tomorrow.
