Fifteen-year-old Elesi Tabunase scored six goals in Ba Women’s dominant 12-0 win over Suva during the Women’s Super League doubleheader at Fiji FA Vatuwaqa Academy.
Ba launched their offensive push right from the beginning, with Marama Senikauka initiating the scoring in the 12th minute.
The goals continued to flow as Luisa Tamani added two more in the 38th and 48th minutes.
Lupe Niubalavu struck just before halftime, providing a commanding lead at the 40th minute mark.
In the second half, Ba’s captain and winger, Koleta Likuculacula, extended the margin with goals in the 60th and 80th minutes.
Suva Women’s team made several attempts but failed to breach Ba’s defense and could not muster enough offensive power to shift the game’s outcome.
Earlier in the doubleheader, Tailevu Naitasiri displayed their prowess with a 3-0 victory over Nadroga Women.
