Annie May, a 16-year-old player from Savusavu FC, has been appointed captain of the Digicel Fiji Junior Kulas for the upcoming OFC U-16 Women’s Championship. She will be joined by vice-captain Ulamila Rasovsova as the team prepares for the tournament, which begins this Sunday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

Teams from Samoa, New Zealand, Tonga, Cook Islands, Tahiti, and Solomon Islands have already arrived in Fiji and are settling in ahead of the competition. The New Caledonia team is experiencing a delay in arrival due to flight issues but is anticipated to join the others soon. The Fiji squad, coached by Marika Rodu, will kick off their campaign against Tonga at 3 pm this Sunday.
