Rikshal Dayal, a 30-year-old entrepreneur from Wailevu, Labasa, has taken a significant step by opening his own law firm, Rikshal Dayal Lawyers, in Labasa Town. The firm officially opened on Thursday and is situated in shop number 14 at Savilla House on Jaduram Street. With an initial investment of $10,000, Mr. Dayal aims to serve his community and fulfill his lifelong dream.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Law from the University of the South Pacific in 2019, Mr. Dayal gained valuable experience working for six years at Sarju Prasad Esquire. He is proudly the first lawyer in his family and is determined to provide exceptional legal services despite the competitive landscape of existing law firms in the area.
Mr. Dayal acknowledges the risks that come with starting a business but feels prepared to tackle any challenges. He encourages others in Labasa, especially those who perceive a lack of job opportunities, to consider entrepreneurship and make the most of their skills and talents. He emphasizes the need for new entrepreneurs in a rapidly growing Labasa Town.
He expresses gratitude towards his family, wife, and in-laws for their support during this venture. The office will operate from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, and on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12 pm, with one administrative staff member assisting him.
This story highlights the spirit of entrepreneurship and community service, serving as an inspiration for individuals to take bold steps toward their dreams, regardless of their age. Mr. Dayal’s journey underscores that with determination and support, new opportunities can arise, contributing to local economic growth and development.
