The Digicel Fiji Young Kulas have successfully arrived in San Francisco, where they will prepare for the upcoming FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup at the end of the month.
Following their time in San Francisco, the Fiji U20 Women’s National team will travel to Costa Rica to face Morocco and Costa Rica in friendly matches before heading to Colombia for the World Cup.
The team was welcomed at a banquet hosted by the America Fiji Sports Commission in Oakland.
Coached by Angeline Chua, the squad will compete in Pool B of the FIFA Women’s World Cup against France, Canada, and Brazil.
This tournament marks a crucial milestone for Fiji, showcasing the progress and development of women’s football in the country. It aims to inspire the upcoming generation of athletes and unite the nation in support of its team on the international stage.
