Young Football Star Joe Moses Makes International Move

Vanuatu’s national marksman, Joe Moses, is set to join Suva FC in Fiji for the remainder of the season. The 21-year-old, who played for Galaxy FC last season, will enhance the attacking lineup of the Capital City team.

Moses will be the third international striker to join Suva during the mid-season transfer window, following the signings of Solomon Islands strikers Gagame Feni and Jaygray Sipakana.

Excited about the move, Moses said, “I was so happy when they (Suva FC) messaged me and asked me to go and play for them. It is a dream come true for me.”

This will be Moses’ first international club stint, and he is eager to gain valuable experience and make both his family and nation proud. He aims to support his mother in paying for his younger sister’s school fees, despite his own educational pursuits being side-tracked by football.

Moses is contracted for six months, with the possibility of renewal.

Meanwhile, Flick Hygiene Suva will face Extra Supermarket Labasa in Round 12 of the Digicel Fiji Premier League at Subrail Park on Saturday.
