Abdul Shafraz, a young entrepreneur from Vuda, Lautoka, is making significant strides in the jewelry-making sector, thanks to support from the Youth and Sports Ministry. In July, the Ministry provided him with crucial materials and equipment, which have been instrumental in enhancing his business operations.

Before receiving assistance, Shafraz had secured a loan from the Fiji Development Bank to kickstart his venture. With the Ministry’s intervention, he has been able to successfully repay this loan, marking a major milestone in his entrepreneurial journey.

To broaden his customer base, Shafraz has also ventured into online sales through his Facebook page, “Jewelry Heaven Fiji,” allowing him to reach customers across the nation.

The Youth and Sports Ministry aims to empower young entrepreneurs like Abdul Shafraz, highlighting its commitment to fostering local talent and innovation in the business landscape.

This story serves as an inspiring reminder of the positive impact community support can have on small businesses. Shafraz’s journey reflects the potential for growth and success when aspiring entrepreneurs receive the right resources and guidance. Such initiatives not only help individuals thrive but also contribute to the overall development of the local economy.
