Miriama Taletawa, an influential weightlifter, has celebrated her remarkable achievement of winning the 2024 Fiji Sportswoman of the Year Award by dedicating her success to her coach, Henry Elder. At just 19 years old, Taletawa credits Elder, who not only coaches the Weightlifting Fiji team but also plays a significant role as a mentor, with being a pivotal influence in her career.
