The Acting Education Minister, Alitia Bainivalu, along with Assistant Minister Iliesa Vanawalu, extended their warm wishes to the Year 8 students as they prepare for their upcoming External Examinations.

Ms. Bainivalu acknowledged the mix of emotions that exam preparations can bring, including excitement and anticipation. She encouraged the Year 8 students to trust in their studies and reminded them that this examination is merely a step in their educational journey.

Furthermore, the Acting Minister urged parents, guardians, and teachers to provide essential support to help students maintain focus during the examination period.

A total of 19,359 Year 8 students are set to take the “Fiji Year 8 Examination,” which will be held at 717 centers nationwide from today until Thursday, September 26. This year includes two new exam centers.
