Year 8 Students Gear Up for Big Exam Day in Fiji!

A total of 19,359 Year 8 students are set to take the Fiji Year Eight Examination today across 717 centers. Acting Minister for Education and Minister for Fisheries and Forests, Alitia Bainivalu, has emphasized that this examination is not only a reflection of students’ knowledge and skills, but it also highlights their hard work and dedication.

Bainivalu noted that the preparation for exams can bring about a range of emotions, including excitement and anticipation. She encouraged students to have confidence in their studies, reminding them that this examination is merely one step in their overall educational journey.

Additionally, Assistant Minister for Education, Iliesa Vanawalu, urged students to believe in their abilities and to stay calm and confident during the exam. He highlighted the significance of resilience and determination, encouraging Year 8 students to remain focused.

Both ministers have reached out to parents, guardians, and teachers, stressing the need for support to help students concentrate during this important phase.
