The Acting Education Minister, Alitia Bainivalu, along with Assistant Minister Iliesa Vanawalu, extended their best wishes to Year 8 students as they prepare for their upcoming External Examinations.
Ms. Bainivalu acknowledged that the period leading up to the exams can evoke a mix of emotions including excitement and anticipation. She encouraged students to trust in their studies and reminded them that this examination is merely one step in their educational journey.
Additionally, the Acting Minister called upon parents, guardians, and teachers to provide vital support to help students maintain focus during the examination phase.
A total of 19,359 Year 8 students are registered to participate in the “Fiji Year 8 Examination,” which will take place across 717 centers nationwide until Thursday, September 26. This year also marks the inclusion of two new exam centers.
