The Acting Education Minister, Alitia Bainivalu, along with Assistant Minister Iliesa Vanawalu, extended their best wishes to Year 8 students today as they prepare for their upcoming External Examinations.
Minister Bainivalu emphasized that preparing for exams can be filled with mixed emotions, including excitement and anxiety. She encouraged the students to trust in their studies and reminded them that this examination is merely a step in their educational journey.
Furthermore, the Acting Minister called on parents, guardians, and teachers to provide essential support to help students remain focused during this crucial examination period.
A total of 19,359 Year 8 students are registered to take the “Fiji Year 8 Examination,” which will be held at 717 centers nationwide from today until Thursday, September 26. This year features the addition of two new exam centers.
