Education Minister Aseri Radrodro took the opportunity to recognize schools that showed improvement, highlighting Adi Cakobau School, which raised its pass rate from 97% to 98%, and Vunisea Secondary School, which saw a significant increase from 83% to 97%.
In a noteworthy achievement, ten secondary schools attained a perfect 100% pass rate, including Nadarivatu Secondary, Nilsen High, Tavua District Secondary, Ratu Finau Secondary, South Taveuni Secondary, Nasesevia Secondary, Valebasoga Secondary, Duavata Secondary, Rewa Secondary, and Jai Narayan College.
Minister Radrodro encouraged parents and guardians to continue their support for students as they embark on their future academic or career endeavors.
This year’s results, while lower than last year’s, still showcase the dedication and hard work of both students and educators. It is encouraging to see schools striving for excellence and reaching new heights, indicating positive trends in education. By maintaining support for these students, we can hope for further improvements in the coming years.
