The Education Ministry has announced an 86% pass rate for Year 13 students this year, showing a decline from 91% in the previous year. Despite this drop, Education Minister Aseri Radrodro praised several schools for their significant improvements in results. Notably, Adi Cakobau School raised its pass rate from 97% to 98%, and Vunisea Secondary made an impressive leap from 83% to 97%.

Additionally, ten secondary schools attained a perfect pass rate of 100%. These schools include Nadarivatu Secondary, Nilsen High, Tavua District Secondary, Ratu Finau Secondary, South Taveuni Secondary, Nasesevia Secondary, Valebasoga Secondary, Duavata Secondary, Rewa Secondary, and Jai Narayan College.

Minister Radrodro urged parents and guardians to continue supporting their students as they embark on their future academic or career journeys.

This year’s results, while showing some challenges, highlight the resilience and determination of both students and educators. The emphasis on improvement and support can foster a positive environment for future academic successes.
