Examination results for Year 12 students were released today at 2 PM, revealing a commendable pass rate of 76%, an improvement from last year’s 74%. Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro announced that a total of 12,858 students participated in the FY12CE exams in 2024.

Radrodro congratulated the students for their hard work, stating, “Your dedication and perseverance amidst challenges have set a strong foundation for your future endeavors.” He also expressed gratitude to teachers, parents, and guardians, emphasizing their vital roles in guiding students through their education.

He highlighted that the results reflect not only the resilience of the students but also the collaboration among educators and the school community. This collective effort has led to improved academic performance, showcasing the Ministry’s commitment to enhancing education standards and fostering success within secondary schools.

The provisional results will be accessible online, allowing students to view their achievements by visiting the official exam results website. This initiative ensures transparency and ease of access for all examining students.

The improvements in pass rates, similar to the upward trend seen in the Fiji Eighth Year Exams, indicate a positive trajectory in the country’s educational landscape. This year, that exam achieved a pass rate of 69%, which is also a significant increment from the previous year’s results, showcasing ongoing enhancements in educational outcomes across different levels.

Encouragingly, both the Year 12 and Eighth Year examinations are reflective of the sustained efforts of students, educators, and community stakeholders in promoting educational excellence. There is optimism for continued advances in the future, which can inspire students to strive even harder for their academic goals.
