Yatule Resort Reopens: A $10 Million Transformation on Natadola Beach!

The Yatule Resort and Spa, situated on Natadola Beach, will officially reopen on Monday after undergoing a $10 million renovation.

The team from Tourism Fiji, who recently toured the property, praised its newly updated look. Brent Hill, the CEO of Tourism Fiji, commended the efforts of managing director Damen Goundar and his team, expressing anticipation for the grand reopening on September 9.

Hill noted that such developments signify a bright future for Fiji’s tourism sector, appealing to both local and international investors. He emphasized that investments in tourism are vital for job creation and the growth of supporting industries, reflecting investors’ confidence in Fiji’s tourism potential.

Damen Goundar, the resort’s managing director, announced that the resort is fully booked for September and expressed eagerness for the upcoming event, ‘Tourism Share: A Collaborative Evening.’ This event will include notable figures from the tourism industry, such as Deputy Prime Ministers and Minister for Finance Biman Prasad, Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation Viliame Gavoka, and Minister for Trade Manoa Kamikamica, who will explore significant trends and opportunities within the sector.

The resort’s staff, who were temporarily relocated to other properties during the renovation, are preparing to return as the opening day approaches.
