“Workers Demand Action: Impending Industrial Disruption at Fiji Revenue Office”

Industrial action is on the horizon at the Fiji Revenue and Customs Service as the union representing 350 workers has expressed dissatisfaction with the FRCS management.

Fiji Public Service Association Secretary General Judith Kotobalavu has called for a meeting tomorrow to seek a mandate for potential industrial action.

“We have now concluded that the management is not serious about addressing the issues that have affected our members for a very long time,” she stated.

Kotobalavu emphasized that a clear message must be sent to management, indicating that “we will no longer tolerate their delaying tactics.”

She also mentioned plans to write to the board of directors to request a meeting and discuss the union’s grievances directly.

Questions have been sent to FRCS CEO Udit Singh and Corporate Communications Manager Devika Narayan.
