Woman in Her 60s Arrested in Illicit Drug Bust in Lautoka

A woman in her 60s appeared in Lautoka Magistrates Court yesterday facing charges related to the possession of illegal drugs. She has been charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit substances. Police reported that a raid conducted by the Lautoka Serious Organised Crime and Intel Unit at her residence on Sunday resulted in the seizure of white crystals, suspected to be methamphetamine, and dried leaves believed to be marijuana. The case has been adjourned and is set for further mention later today.
