A woman has been taken into custody for allegedly selling alcohol without a permit in Tacirua. Police officers from the Valelevu Police Station conducted a raid last night on a shop suspected of illegal liquor sales, where they confiscated over 100 cans and bottles of alcohol. A 24-year-old woman was arrested at the location and is currently holding in custody as investigations proceed. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, stated that such illegal activities often lead to other criminal behaviors, and authorities are focused on dismantling these illicit markets.
