Welfare Payments Delayed: What Recipients Need to Know

Payments for social welfare recipients scheduled for August have been delayed as a result of the transition to the Government’s new financial year. Lynda Tabuya, the Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection, stated that efforts are being made to expedite the payment process to ensure that all recipients receive their allowances. She acknowledged the importance of these payments for beneficiaries and expressed sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused. Tabuya confirmed that starting in September, all future monthly payments will resume according to the normal schedule.
