Miriama Taletawa continued her success by winning the Sportswoman of the Year award for the second consecutive year, a testament to her exceptional performance in local competitions and her recent achievements at the Oceania Weightlifting Championships in New Zealand, where she earned both a bronze and a silver medal.
Talewata’s impressive track record also includes a silver medal in the 76kg category from the previous year’s Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships held in Suva.
