Week-Long Review to Shape Fiji–New Zealand Police Partnership

A delegation from the New Zealand Police Service Group conducted a meeting this morning with Fiji’s Acting Commissioner of Police, Aporosa Lutunauga, as part of a continuous evaluation of collaborative initiatives between the two law enforcement agencies.

The purpose of this visit is to assess various initiatives that have emerged from the Fiji–New Zealand policing partnership and to identify potential areas for enhanced cooperation in the future. The team is scheduled to spend the week analyzing different projects and activities that fall under this bilateral program.

Acting Commissioner Lutunauga voiced his appreciation for the unwavering support from the New Zealand delegation and expressed eagerness for the insights that will emerge from their week-long assessment. He noted the potential these findings may hold for further strengthening cooperation between the two policing bodies.
