Weather Woes: Education Ministry Prepares for Year 13 Exam Impact

The Ministry of Education is closely monitoring the weather conditions and their potential effects on the Year 13 National Examinations, which are set to begin tomorrow.

Line Minister Aseri Radrodro stated that the ministry will issue timely updates to ensure the safety and well-being of all students and staff involved in the examinations.

Radrodro emphasized the importance of staying informed and will provide updates in accordance with advice from the National Disaster Management Office (NDMO).

The Minister also urged parents and guardians to pay attention to weather updates and take necessary precautions for the safety of their children.

The ministry’s Disaster Risk Reduction team is actively tracking the weather developments.

Additionally, Radrodro is calling on Divisional and District officers to work alongside school leaders to secure all school facilities and ensure the safety of students.

School heads are reminded to release children only to their parents or guardians once it is deemed safe.
