First, here’s the weather forecast:

Weather
– A trough of low pressure bringing clouds and showers is affecting the eastern parts of the group, expected to continue until later today.
– A weak trough of low pressure is anticipated to impact the region starting later on Friday.
– Occasional showers will occur over the Lau group.
– Showers will gradually decrease to a few by later today.
– Cloudy periods with some showers are expected over areas including Navua-Suva-Nausori-Tailevu North, Serua-Namosi, Naitasiri, Ra, southern Bua, eastern Macuata, Cakaudrove provinces, Taveuni, nearby smaller islands, and the Lomaiviti group.
– Generally fine weather will prevail elsewhere, with isolated afternoon and evening showers.
– Isolated afternoon thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are forecasted.
– Localized heavy rains could result in flash flooding in low-lying and flood-prone areas.
– Moderate to fresh northeast to southeast winds are anticipated.
– Moderate to rough seas are also expected.

– The grand opening of Indulge will take place at 9 a.m. in Lautoka.
– Fiji National University Open Day is happening at the FNU Valelevu Campus.
