Weather Watch: Education Ministry’s Crucial Preparations for Year 13 Exams

The Ministry of Education is closely observing the current weather conditions and their possible effects on the Year 13 National Examinations, set to begin tomorrow.

Minister Aseri Radrodro announced that updates will be provided promptly to ensure the safety of all students and staff involved in the examinations.

Radrodro emphasized that they will monitor developments closely and share updates based on recommendations from the National Disaster Management Office (NDMO).

He also reminded parents and guardians to stay informed about the weather updates and take necessary precautions to protect the safety of their children.

The Ministry’s Disaster Risk Reduction team is actively tracking the weather.

Furthermore, Radrodro encouraged Divisional and District officers to work together with school leaders to secure all school facilities and ensure student safety.

School heads are also advised to release students only to their parents or guardians when conditions are safe.
