A total of 37 water tanks were distributed to applicants in Nadi last week as part of the Rain Water Harvesting initiative. The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) announced that new tanks were also provided to applicants in Bavu Village and Nakorokula Village in Nadroga.
WAF expressed that the two villages were extremely thankful for the delivery. “These tanks are part of a program designed to enhance water storage in rural areas, ensuring communities have consistent access to clean water,” WAF stated.
The team plans to continue delivering water tanks to successful applicants in various locations within the Nadi District, including Loqi Settlement, Nawaicoba Settlement, Tovatova Settlement, and Sariyawa.
