The Water Authority of Fiji has announced a tender for the second phase of the Viria Water Project. This follows the project’s recent commencement, which occurred last month after the completion of significant construction work, including the main gravity line.

Residents in Tacirua, Tamavua, Lami, and Delainavesi can look forward to an improved water supply in the upcoming months once the second phase of the Viria Water Project is finalized.

Minister for Public Works and Infrastructure, Ro Filipe Tuisawau, has highlighted that the current capacity of the Tamavua Water Treatment Plant is insufficient to meet the needs of these areas.
