Korotogo Andhra Sangam Primary School in Nadroga has received a generous donation of $2,000 from Warwick Fiji Resort to support its extra-curricular activities. School manager Ramesh Naidu expressed gratitude for the resort’s assistance with their maintenance project.
He emphasized that this support allows the resort to reconnect with the community by funding events such as the scout’s jamboree and the mathematics competition, where the school team recently reached the finals for the first time. “We are very grateful because this will significantly benefit the students,” Naidu stated.
Nitin Goundar, the director of Human Resources at Warwick Fiji, noted that the donation is part of their corporate social responsibility outreach program. The school serves over 550 students.
Additionally, Naidu thanked the ‘Daughters of Charity’ for providing library books for their kindergarten, stating, “We appreciate donations to our Andhra Kindergarten. It is all for the betterment of the students.”
