In an exhilarating men’s final at Nasau Park in Levuka, Wardens Gold narrowly defeated Police Blues with a score of 18-15, successfully defending their title. Their women’s team also triumphed in their division, culminating in a remarkable tournament for the club.
Team manager Etonia Taivoce emphasized their objectives from the outset. “Our aim was to defend our title, and we achieved that,” Taivoce stated, expressing pride in the determination shown by both teams.
The men’s final was a nail-biter, with Police Blues relentlessly challenging the Wardens Gold. However, Wardens Gold maintained their composure, clinching victory in the final seconds of the match.
