The Wardens Gold rugby team showcased their prowess by clinching both the men’s and women’s Cups at the Fiji Bitter Yalovata Sevens held on Thursday.

In an exhilarating men’s final at Nasau Park, Levuka, the Wardens Gold narrowly defeated the Police Blues with a score of 18-15, successfully defending their title. The women’s team also triumphed, securing victory in their division, making the tournament a memorable one for the Wardens Gold.

Team manager Etonia Taivoce expressed his pride in the teams’ performances and their commitment to their goal. “We came here to defend our title, and that’s exactly what we did. I’m proud of the hard work from both teams,” he stated.
