Wallis and Futuna Set to Shine at Fiji Athletics Games!

Wallis and Futuna Primary School is thrilled to be part of this year’s Fiji Primary School Athletics Tuckers Ice Cream Games. Patrick Bower, the president of the Primary School Athletics Association, emphasized the importance of primary school games, both at district and national levels, as a stepping stone for aspiring national athletes in various sports.

“These games tremendously benefit participating students by fostering their potential for success in their respective sports,” Bower stated. He further noted that primary school athletics is essential in shaping the future of national sports, encouraging young athletes to dream big and adopt a positive mindset towards their athletic pursuits.

Bower expressed confidence that the inclusion of Wallis and Futuna would bring additional excitement and diversity to the tournament, highlighting the island nation’s eagerness to participate.

The highly anticipated two-day event is set to occur at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva on November 28-29.
