Fijians Samu Kerevi and Rob Valetini are set to achieve significant milestones as they both reach their 50th appearances for the Wallabies when they take on Wales next week.
Kerevi has been positioned as the inside centre in a team that sees six adjustments from the squad that narrowly defeated England 42-37 in their previous match. He will form a partnership with Len Ikitau in the centre, while Joseph Suaalii, who previously played in the starting lineup, has been moved to the bench.
The lineup also features Allan Alaalatoa stepping in for Taniela Tupou in the front row. Will Skelton returns as a lock, with Valetini transitioning to the number eight position. Additionally, Langi Gleeson has been selected as loose forward cover, and Seru Uru will make his start at blindside flanker.
In the half-back pairing, Nic White will join Noah Lolesio. The highly anticipated match will take place on Monday at 4:10 AM at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
Wallabies lineup includes: Angus Bell, Matt Faessler, Allan Alaalatoa (c), Nick Frost, Will Skelton, Seru Uru, Fraser McReight, Rob Valetini, Nic White, Noah Lolesio, Max Jorgensen, Samu Kerevi, Len Ikitau, Andrew Kellaway, and Tom Wright. The substitutes are Brandon Paenga-Amosa, James Slipper, Zane Nonggorr, Lukhan Salakaia-Loto, Langi Gleeson, Tate McDermott, Ben Donaldson, and Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii.
This milestone matchup not only marks a personal achievement for Kerevi and Valetini but also offers an opportunity for the Wallabies to build momentum against a tough opponent in Wales. Fans can anticipate an exciting and competitive game.
