Rob Valetini and Langi Gleeson have been included in the Wallabies squad for their upcoming third Test of the Northern Tour against Scotland. This comes on the back of two impressive victories, with Australia overcoming England 42-37 and securing a dominant 52-20 win against Wales last weekend.
Head Coach Joe Schmidt has made some interesting selections, including giving the Number 13 jersey to talented rugby league convert Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii, and naming Harry Potter as a debutant starting at blindside winger. Gleeson will provide loose forward cover for the team.
The match will take place at Murrayfield in Edinburgh on Monday at 1:40 AM.
The Australian line-up includes: Tom Wright; Andrew Kellaway, Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii, Len Ikitau, Harry Potter; Noah Lolesio, Jake Gordon; Harry Wilson (captain), Carlo Tizzano, Rob Valetini; Will Skelton, Jeremy Williams; Allan Alaalatoa, Matt Faessler, and Angus Bell. The reserves are Brandon Paenga-Amosa, Isaac Kailea, Zane Nonggorr, Lukhan Salakaia-Loto, Langi Gleeson, Tate McDermott, Ben Donaldson, and Max Jorgensen.
With momentum on their side, the Wallabies are looking to continue their winning streak and secure a third consecutive victory on this Northern Tour. It will be a great opportunity for the team, especially for the debutants, to showcase their skills against a strong Scottish side.
