The Minister for Communications, Manoa Kamikamica, is anticipated to receive the Office of the Auditor-General’s report this week regarding the investigation into Walesi Pte Limited, the state-owned digital television platform. During his visit to Labasa, Kamikamica addressed prevalent concerns about Walesi and confirmed the ongoing inquiry, which was initiated last year due to allegations of excessive spending and operational irregularities.
Kamikamica assured the public that if any findings warrant action, reports will be made to the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption.
