Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade Manoa Kamikamica has announced that the report from the Office of the Auditor-General concerning Walesi PTE Limited is anticipated to be released this week. In an interview with FijiLive, Kamikamica explained that the findings will first be reviewed by the Cabinet before being presented in Parliament.
Kamikamica highlighted that based on the findings of this report, it may also be forwarded to the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption for further investigation. Since its inception in 2015, a substantial amount of $125.6 million has been allocated for the establishment and implementation of the satellite digital television platform.
