Flying Fijians winger Jiuta Wainiqolo is set to join training camp this week after impressively scoring the try of the match in Toulon’s 21-10 victory over Lyon. Wainiqolo delivered an exhilarating 78-meter try in the 57th minute, much to the delight of the home crowd.
His long-range scoring abilities are quickly becoming a trademark for him at the club in the Top 14 tournament. Toulon dominated the first half, leading 14-0 after two tries from Dany Priso and Teddy Baubigny, with Baptiste Serin successfully converting all three attempts.
Lyon managed to score a consolation try through Theo William, with Leo Berdeu contributing as well.
