The Waidamudamu Bridge, located along the Nakorotari Road in Labasa, has successfully undergone a full deck replacement and is now open for public use. The Fiji Roads Authority announced that while the bridge is operational, minor works will still be completed later this evening.

In light of the recent reopening, the public is encouraged to use this vital infrastructure responsibly to ensure safety and maximize its benefits for the community. The bridge had been previously closed due to damage linked to an alleged arson incident, making this reopening an important step forward for local transportation.

This completion not only enhances connectivity in the region but also marks a significant recovery in infrastructure following the unfortunate events that led to its closure. Communities are reminded of the importance of maintaining such structures for the safety and convenience of all users.
