Trials for the Suva Volleyball Association (SVA) scheduled ahead of the 2025 Fiji Volleyball Federation’s club championships have been postponed to tomorrow due to adverse weather conditions that arose on January 8. The announcement was made through the SVA’s official Facebook page.
The trials will now consist of three sessions, offering players representing ten selected clubs the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete against one another. The first session for the men’s players will start on January 11 from 7:30 AM to 9 AM at the USP Gym located in Laucala Bay, Suva. Following this, the women’s session is planned from 9:30 AM to 12 PM, and the day will wrap up with another men’s session from 5 PM to 7 PM at Hall A of the Vodafone Arena in Suva.
Participants will include athletes from clubs such as Tamavua Bulls, USP, Naiqasiqasi Brothers, Avengers, Redline, Hanua Heat, Vision, Dateline Titans, Moskoi, and the Marines. Attendance at these trials is considered crucial for any player wishing to be selected to represent the association in the upcoming competitive events.
