The 2025 Vodafone Sukuna Bowl has officially kicked off, featuring a week-long series of competitions that bring together the Fiji Police Force and the Republic of Fiji Military Forces in a spirit of camaraderie and friendly rivalry. The opening day saw boxing take center stage with weigh-ins early in the morning at Nakasi Police Station, setting the tone for an exciting first event.

The boxing bouts will continue today at the Fiji Police Academy Gym, starting officially at 4 pm after a series of formalities that begin at 12:50 pm. Alongside boxing, cricket also kicked off today, with teams arriving at Albert Park at 8:15 am. The first ball is set to be bowled at 8:50 am, marking the official start of the cricket matches within the Sukuna Bowl framework.

Upcoming events throughout the week include Touch Rugby and Oldies matches scheduled for tomorrow at Nasova Grounds, leading up to the highly anticipated rugby showdown on Friday.
