“Vodafone Fijiana XV Set to Face Wallaroos in Rugby Showdown”

The Vodafone Fijiana XV team is set for their match against the Wallaroos this Saturday at the Allianz Stadium in Sydney.

Head coach Mosese Rauluni emphasized the importance of his team performing at their best against the world’s fifth-ranked women’s rugby team.

“The players have been training well and have shown significant improvement since the game against Japan, but we will see the real test when we face the Wallaroos on Saturday,” Rauluni stated.

Despite the Wallaroos losing all their test matches so far, Rauluni warns they remain a formidable opponent.

“It will be a challenging game, especially playing on their home ground,” he said. “The conditions will be different and colder compared to our last visit to Australia.”

Rauluni insisted that his team cannot underestimate the Wallaroos and must deliver a strong performance.

“We need to be in top form,” he said.

Rauluni aims to leverage their backline with swift ball movement to counter the Wallaroos’ attacking formations.

“We must defend well against their various shapes and formations,” he explained.

Rauluni is hopeful for robust support from the Fijian community in Sydney.

“Our contact sessions here in Fiji have been great, and now we’re ready to head to Sydney,” he said. “We aim to get the basics right in our preparation for Saturday.”

The match is scheduled to kick off at 6.45 pm.
