Vodafone Fijiana head coach Mosese Rauluni has confirmed his 23-member squad for the upcoming test match against the Australian Wallaroos this Saturday.
Liti Lawedrau from the Yasawa Rugby Women’s team is set to make her debut at center, replacing Merewai Cumu, who is out due to an injury sustained in the match against Japan.
Former Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua captain Bitila Tawake makes her return to the squad as a tight-head prop after recovering from an injury during the Super W grand finale. She will be joined in the front row by Tiana Robanakadavu at loose-head prop and Keleni Marawa at hooker.
Captain Karalaini Naisewa, who has recovered from an ankle injury, will lead the team from the number 8 position. The locks will be Mereoni Nakesa and Asinate Serevi, with Nunia Daunimoala at blindside flanker and Sulita Waisega at openside flanker.
In the backs, Evivi Senikarivi will start at half-back with vice-captain Jennifer Ravutia at fly-half. Adita Milinia and Merewairita Neivosa will be on the wings, while debutant Liti Lawedrau and Atelaite Buna will hold the center positions. Luisa Tisolo will complete the starting XV as fullback.
The bench includes Litia Marama as the replacement hooker, with Loraini Senivutu and Vika Matarugu as prop covers. The rest of the bench is comprised of Doreen Narokete, Ema Adivitaloga, Setaita Railumu, Sala Kinita, and Repeka Tove.
The match will be held at Allianz Stadium and is scheduled to kick off at 6:45 PM on Saturday.
