A man has been charged with one count of rape and one count of sexual assault involving a crew member from Virgin Australia. The alleged incident occurred on New Year’s Eve in Nadi. Acting Police Commissioner Juki Fong Chew confirmed that charges have been officially filed against the individual.
The man is set to appear in the Nadi Magistrates Court on Monday. Meanwhile, police investigations continue regarding an allegation of theft connected to the case, which involves a second crew member. It has been noted that both crew members have since returned to Australia.
