Allegations of theft and sexual assault have surfaced involving three members of the Virgin Australia airline crew who are currently staying at a hotel in Nadi, Fiji. Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew confirmed that these incidents took place during a night out early this morning.

As a precaution, the airline crew has been kept in isolation, confined to their rooms at Hotel Tanoa. According to reports from 7News Australia, a management team from Virgin Australia is scheduled to arrive in Nadi tomorrow to investigate the matter further. Families of the crew members are also traveling to Fiji to support their loved ones during this challenging time.

Mr. Chew emphasized that the police are taking these allegations seriously, stating, “We confirm police are investigating the Australian airline crew case as they were victims of theft and allegations of rape after clubbing.” He reassured the public that the police are dedicated to ensuring a safe environment for both Fijians and visitors alike throughout the festive season and encouraged everyone to look out for one another.

In light of the festive season, it is important for communities to come together to support one another and ensure safety for all. This incident serves as a reminder of the need for vigilance and solidarity among friends and strangers alike.
