Vinaya Habosi Shines After Controversy in Racing 92’s Comeback Victory

Fijian winger Vinaya Habosi, who was recently recalled after facing investigation for domestic violence, made an impact by scoring in Racing 92’s victory over Vannes in the French Top 14 yesterday.

This goal came less than three weeks after Habosi was arrested following a dispute with his wife. The 24-year-old player has faced disciplinary action from the Parisian club and has been mandated to participate in a domestic violence course.

Habosi’s goal helped Racing rally from behind to secure a 27-24 win, marking their second victory in five matches this season. This win alleviates some pressure on Racing coach Stuart Lancaster, who previously managed England and Leinster.

Vannes, in their first season in the top division, remains at the bottom of the standings after suffering their fourth defeat this campaign.
